1. Overview.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, products, and services offered by ModKind (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”), including the sale of modified video game controllers (“Mods”) and controller servicing (“Services”).
By placing an order or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. Eligibility.
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use our services. By using our site and services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Products and Modifications.
We offer custom modifications to gaming controllers, which may include hardware or cosmetic changes.
Our mods are intended for personal use only. We do not condone or support cheating or unfair play in online games. Using modded controllers in violation of a game’s terms of service is at your own risk.
ModKind is not affiliated with or endorsed by any console or game manufacturers (e.g., Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo).
Controller modification WILL result in manufacturer warranties being voided.
Using modified products in online games can result in online bans/account suspensions; ModKind is not liable for this.
4. Servicing
Controller modding service only includes the customisation(s) that you select.
Controllers are expected to arrive functional; all controllers are inspected prior to modification(s). Controllers that arrive faulty may incur further charges.
You are responsible for shipping your device to us, via our provided shipping method.
Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on workload or part availability. We may require a further 2 weeks to complete your product sale/service.
5. Warranty and Repairs
We offer a 3 Month limited warranty on all Products and Services.
If a warranty claim is made, the customer is responsible for shipping the controller back to us. We will cover the repair and return shipping, free of charge, if covered
by the warranty. A service fee may be presented, if the return is NOT covered by our warranty.
The warranty does not cover:
User-inflicted damage (e.g., drops, liquid damage)
Tampering or Further Modification.
Software issues unrelated to hardware mods
Cosmetic Defects
To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order details and photos/videos of the issue. Contact us at hello@modkind.co.uk.
6. Returns and Refunds
Service charges are non-refundable once the work has begun. Refunds will only be given if your controller is not received by us within 28 days.
A service fee of £10 will be charged, (taken from your initial payment), if we do not receive your controller in time.
If a return is approved (e.g., for a defective item), it must be returned within 28 days of approval.

All prices are listed when viewing our products and services
Orders are not processed until payment is received in full.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our Mods or Services. Use of modded controllers may violate some game or console terms of service, which may result in bans or penalties — use at your own risk.
9. Intellectual Property
Some content on our website (text, graphics, logos, images) is the property of ModKind (and its collaborators) and may not be copied, distributed, or used without permission.
10. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Any personal data collected will be used only to fulfill your order or communicate with you. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom and the EU.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted on our website and subscribers will be notified via email.
