About Me

My name’s Kaine Wilkinson, and I started Modkind with one simple idea:

Tech Doesn’t have to be Disposable.

For years, I’ve been repairing, upgrading, and customising controllers and gaming gear in my spare time. I’ve seen first hand how a small upgrade can completely change a player’s experience and how modding can turn into a fun, rewarding hobby.

I also know the frustration of trying to find the right parts, tools, and clear instructions. That’s why I decided to bring it all together under one roof, a place where you can get everything you need to mod your gear, and the guidance to actually do it.

Modding is more than just making your setup look cool (though that’s definitely part of it) it’s about understanding your tech, making it last longer, and putting your own stamp on it.
